Every Night of The Road Show
1 Hour prior to the iftar (the time when fasting muslims are able to eat) 1 32 foot RV, an 18 wheeled tractor trailor carrying Halal Food and a 25' gas and charcoal grill pulled by a SUV will pull into the parking lot of the Masjids.org Road Show Host Masjid of the day. As the caravan pulls into the Masjid Parking Lot, one consistent message rings out “The Masjids.org Ramadhan Road Show sponsored by Halal Food Companies” as it is written beautifully on the side of every vehicle and the un-mistakenly large grill.
Before the evening prayer (Maghrib)
Road Show Support staff members will greet the attendees and distribute packages of dates with a card inside that has written on it the prayer needed prior to breaking the fast. On the back of the prayer card are instructions for viewing the nights worth of media content on the Masjids.org web portal.
After the evening prayer (Maghrib)
As the attendees end their evening prayers, the head of the host Masjid will introduce the Road Show DJ, Director and any special attendees. The DJ will then inform to the attendees about The Ramadhan Road Show, Masjids.org and the Title Sponsors. Road Show support staff will disburse 3x5 data collection cards to the attendees while the DJ informs them that there is a grill full of Salwa food waiting for them outside and they must deliver the data card to the proper staff member to prior to partaking of the Road Show Feast.
As the patrons indulge in the wonderful taste of Salwa Food's variety of edibles, the Road Show DJ will conduct the second segment of the Road Show that will involve direct interaction with the attendees to provide a source of entertainment and the media which will be viewable by on the Masjids.org website the following day. This will continue until the Adhan for Isha is called.
After the late night prayer (Tarawiyyah)
The Road Show DJ and Director will thank everyone and publicly thank the Road Show sponsors. The host Imam will then lead the attendees and Road Show staff in a special prayer for the success of the event, the Road Show Sponsors, the families of the Road Show staff and the safety and success of the Road Show staff in the next leg of the journey.
